Set your opening hours and special dates
Set the week your park usually opens, then change individual dates or a whole run of dates when you need to.
Last checked 11 October 2026
Where to find it: Website → Opening hours, or console.parkstack.net/hours.
Before you start: owners and editors can change opening hours. Have your usual opening, last admission and closing times ready, along with any holiday hours or closed dates.
Set your usual week
- Go to A usual week.
- Enter Opens, Last admission and Closes for each day. Leave Last admission blank if Riverside Adventure Park does not use one.
- Choose Closed for any day your park does not usually open.
- Choose Show today’s opening hours below the website header if you want guests to see today’s hours on every page. They can choose that line to open the full calendar.
- Choose Save & publish when the week is right.
Opening hours go straight to your live website when you save. Nothing changes for guests while you are still filling in the page.
Change one date
- Find the right month under The calendar guests see. Choose Previous month or Next month when you need to move through the calendar.
- Choose the date you want to change.
- Enter its Opens, Last admission and Closes times, or choose Closed.
- Enter a short Label, such as Fireworks night, if it will help guests understand the change.
- Choose Save & publish.
To remove a special date later, choose it in the calendar and choose Put this date back to the usual week. Then choose Save & publish.
Change a run of dates
- Choose Change a run of dates.
- Enter the first and last dates under From and To.
- Choose the days of the week you want to change. Leave Days of the week (leave empty for every day) empty to include every date in the run.
- Enter the new times, or choose Closed.
- Enter a Label if guests need to know why the hours are different.
- Choose the button showing how many dates will change, such as Change 7 dates.
- Check the calendar, then choose Save & publish.
This replaces anything already set for those dates, but it is not published until you save.
If guests already have tickets
If the change closes a date with paid tickets, or moves its last entry or closing time earlier, Parkstack shows Guests already have tickets for these days before it saves.
Check the ticket and order numbers. Choose See the bookings if you need to find the guests. Saving does not cancel or refund their tickets, so contact them if the change affects their visit. Choose Save anyway only when you are ready.
What guests see
Guests see the saved hours in your opening-hours calendar. Special dates replace the usual week for those dates. If you turned on today’s hours, they also see a line below the website header.
Things that stop it working
- The calendar still shows the usual hours. Check that you changed the date and chose Save & publish.
- Several dates changed when you expected 1. Open Change a run of dates and check From, To and the chosen weekdays before applying another change.
- The sold-ticket warning appears. Check the bookings before you continue. Save anyway changes the hours, but it does not contact guests or refund tickets.
- Today’s hours are missing from the header. Choose Show today’s opening hours below the website header, then choose Save & publish.
