Publish at a set time

Choose when saved changes go live, with an optional teaser for a new page.

Last checked 10 October 2026

Where to find it: open the attraction, food and drink place, shop or facility, event, FAQ, page or homepage you want to publish, then open Publish at a set time. For example, events are under Website → Events at console.parkstack.net/events.

Before you start: owners and editors can schedule publishing. Make the changes you want to publish first. The time uses your park’s local clock.

Steps

  1. Save a new item as a draft, or make changes to something already published. The schedule needs something new to publish.
  2. Open Publish at a set time in its editor.
  3. Enter the Date and time when it should go live.
  4. Tick Show a teaser at its web address until then if you are scheduling a new attraction, food and drink place, shop or facility, event or page and want guests to see that something is coming. Leave it unticked to keep the page private.
  5. Choose Schedule. Parkstack saves what is on screen first, so those changes are included.
  6. Carry on editing and saving if details change before the set time. Whatever is saved when the time arrives is what Parkstack publishes.

Choose Change the time to move it. Choose Cancel the schedule to stop the automatic publish. Cancelling keeps the saved draft, so no work is lost.

What guests see

Without a teaser, guests keep seeing the current published version, or no page if it is new. A teaser shows only the name, first photo, short summary and a countdown at the new page’s address. It does not reveal the rest of the draft. At the set time, Parkstack replaces the teaser with the full page, usually within a minute.

Things that stop it working

  • The scheduling form says there is nothing new to publish. Make a change or save the new item as a draft first.
  • The time is refused. Choose a future time within the next year. If the clocks go forward over that time, choose another time that exists on your park’s clock.
  • The teaser choice is missing. Teasers are only for a new attraction, food and drink place, shop or facility, event or page that has never been published. FAQ and homepage schedules do not offer one.
  • The wrong changes went live. The schedule publishes the latest saved draft, including anything saved after the schedule was set.
