Get a seasonal homepage ready
Prepare a temporary homepage for Halloween, Christmas or another season, and choose when it replaces your usual one.

Before you start: owners and editors can prepare a seasonal homepage. Have the start and end dates, words and photos ready. Your usual homepage stays safe and comes back afterwards.
Steps
- Choose Start from a copy of your homepage if the usual homepage is a helpful starting point. This copies its blocks; later changes to either homepage do not change the other one.
- Add, edit and arrange the seasonal blocks. The draft saves privately while you work.
- Enter a short Name, such as Halloween.
- Enter Starts and Ends in your park’s local time. The start must be before the end.
- Choose Keep your usual colours under Page colours, or choose Night (dark) for the optional night theme.
- Choose Phone and Computer under Preview to check the seasonal page before guests see it.
- Choose Schedule it. Parkstack saves the dates and the latest draft, then changes the homepage when the start time arrives.
If you change the dates later, choose Save dates. If the seasonal homepage is already showing, edit its blocks and choose Publish changes so guests see those changes.
What guests see
Between Starts and Ends, guests see the seasonal homepage instead of your usual homepage. Night (dark) also darkens your website’s pages during that time. After the end, the usual homepage comes back by itself and the seasonal blocks stay ready for next time. The switch usually happens within a minute of the set time.
Things that stop it working
- Schedule it is not available. Enter a Name, Starts and Ends, and add at least 1 block.
- The dates cannot be saved. Check that Ends is after Starts.
- You want to stop before it starts. Choose Remove the dates. The seasonal blocks are kept.
- You need the usual homepage back now. Choose End it now. The change is immediate and the seasonal blocks are kept.
