Build your homepage with blocks
Arrange your homepage, preview the draft on a phone and computer and publish it when it is ready.

Before you start: owners and editors can change the homepage. Have your words and photos ready, and decide the main thing guests should do next.
Steps
- Choose an existing block to open it, or choose + Add a block.
- Choose the kind of block you need, such as Banner, Featured attractions, Opening hours or Tickets.
- Enter the words, photos and choices for that block. Each block has only the fields that its design needs.
- Choose Move up or Move down to change the order. The homepage follows the same order from top to bottom.
- Choose Hide from the site if you want to keep a block in the draft without showing it after the next publish. Choose Show on the site when you need it again.
- Choose Duplicate when an existing block is a useful starting point, or Remove when it is no longer needed.
- Choose Phone under Preview to check narrow screens, then choose Computer to check a larger screen. The preview includes your unpublished draft.
- Wait for Saved, not published after your last change. Parkstack saves the draft for you, but guests still see the published homepage.
- Choose Publish changes. Nothing changes on your website until you do.
What guests see
The homepage updates within a few seconds of publishing. Hidden blocks stay in the editor but do not appear to guests. Blocks that depend on other content can disappear when there is nothing suitable to show, such as an events block when there are no upcoming events.
Things that stop it working
- A block is missing from the website. Open it and check whether the action says Show on the site. If it does, the block is hidden.
- Your latest words are not live. Wait for Saved, not published, then choose Publish changes.
- The preview is not updating. Wait for the draft to save. Choose Open in a new tab if you need more room to check it.
- You removed the wrong block. Choose Discard changes before publishing to return to the live homepage.
