Show attraction availability and closures

Tell guests which published attractions are unavailable, seasonal or being refurbished.

Last checked 10 October 2026

Where to find it: Website → Attractions, then choose Attraction availability at the top of the list, or console.parkstack.net/availability.

Before you start: owners and editors can update attraction availability. The attraction must already be published before it appears here.

Steps

  1. Open Website → Attractions and choose Attraction availability.
  2. Find the attraction you need to update. Use All, Unavailable or Available to shorten the list when Riverside Adventure Park has several attractions to check.
  3. Choose Unavailable, Seasonal or Refurbishment to put the attraction on the public availability page. Choose Available to take it off that page. Coming soon and Unlisted attractions also stay off it.
  4. Enter a short Description when that box appears, such as “River Rapids is closed today because of high winds.” This gives guests a useful reason. Leave it blank if the standard wording is enough.
  5. Repeat this for any other attraction that has changed.
  6. Choose Save & publish. Until you do, guests keep seeing the last published statuses, so you can check all the changes first.
  7. Choose Turn public page on if guests should be able to open the page. This switch updates straight away and is separate from the attraction changes.

What guests see

Guests see temporary closures first, followed by seasonal closures and refurbishments, at /plan-your-visit/attraction-availability. Available, coming soon and unlisted attractions do not appear there. The page also stays out of the header when you choose Turn public page off.

Things that stop it working

  • An attraction is missing from the console list. Publish it from Website → Attractions first. Draft attractions stay off the availability page.
  • The public page is still hidden. Choose Turn public page on. The page also stays hidden while your park has no published attraction that can appear on the website.
  • Guests still see the old status. Choose Save & publish. Unsaved changes remain private.
  • The attraction is not listed as a closure. Check that its status is Unavailable, Seasonal or Refurbishment. Coming soon appears on the attractions page instead.
