Create a ticket
Add a dated or undated ticket, set its price and limits, and put it on sale.
Last checked 10 October 2026
Where to find it: Tickets → Tickets, or console.parkstack.net/tickets.
Before you start: an owner can add and change tickets. Have the ticket name, the total price a guest pays and any daily limit ready. Riverside Adventure Park uses tickets such as the Day ticket.
Steps
- Choose Add ticket.
- Under The ticket, enter the Name, check the Page address and add a Description if guests need more information.
- Under Price, choose the Type. Choose Day ticket — any open day for general admission, or Timed entry — guest picks a visit date when every guest must choose a date.
- Enter the full amount under Price guests pay (GBP). Parkstack does not add VAT or work it out for you: the amount you enter is what the guest pays.
- Under Dates and limits, tick Require a visit date at checkout for a dated ticket. Leave it unticked for a ticket that can be used on any open day. Timed entry — guest picks a visit date ticks it for you.
- For a dated ticket, leave Counts toward the park total for that day ticked if it should use the park-wide daily limit.
- Enter a number under Limit this ticket type (optional) if this ticket should sell out before the park-wide limit. Adding this limit makes the ticket dated.
- Use On sale from (optional) and On sale until (optional) if the ticket should only be sold during part of the year.
- Choose Save & publish. New tickets start on sale, so guests can buy it as soon as the online shop is ready.
- Return to Tickets → Selling settings to set one total across your dated tickets.
- Enter the Park-wide ticket limit.
- Choose Add a date under Different total on certain dates if the total needs to change on a particular day.
- Choose Save park total.
What guests see
A dated ticket asks the guest to choose an open date and counts against the limits you selected. An undated ticket can be used on any open day and does not use a daily limit.
Online sales for today stop at the park’s last entry time. If there is no last entry time, they stop at closing time. The box office can still sell a ticket for today after that point, but staff see a warning to check the guest can still come in.
Guests see inc. VAT beside the price only when the park is marked as VAT-registered under Park settings → Business details. Otherwise the price has no VAT wording.
Things that stop it working
- The ticket is not on the website. Check the ticket says On sale and that the Online ticket shop is open.
- A date is not available. The park may be closed, the ticket may be outside its sale dates or a daily limit may have been reached.
- The ticket sold out too soon. Check both Limit this ticket type (optional) and the Park-wide ticket limit. A dated ticket can use both limits.
- The price wording is wrong. An owner can check The business is VAT-registered under Park settings → Business details. Changing it changes the wording, not the price guests pay.
