Close early, or tell guests something today
When the weather turns or something goes wrong on the day, change today’s hours and put a notice at the top of your website in one go.

Where to find it: Today at the park, under the date on your dashboard and on Opening hours, or console.parkstack.net/today.
Before you start: owners and managers can use it. It only changes today. For another day, use Opening hours.
Change today
- Open Today at the park.
- Choose what is happening:
- Close early: choose the New closing time. Online sales of tickets for today stop at that time.
- Closed now: today shows as closed on your website.
- Open late: choose the New opening time.
- Notice only: today’s hours stay as they are, for something like some rides being closed because of the wind.
- Under The notice on your website, fill in Starts with if you want your own bold words, such as “Weather update”. Leave it blank to use the one Parkstack suggests.
- Check the Message. Parkstack suggests one; add why if you can, and what guests should do.
- To add a link, fill in Link words and Link goes to, such as /plan-your-visit/opening-hours.
- Choose Take it down at. The notice comes off your website by itself at that time today.
- Tick Stop selling tickets for today online while it shows if guests should not buy tickets for today. It is ticked for you when the park is closed for the rest of the day. Tickets for other days stay on sale, and the box office can still sell.
- Choose Put it on your website and confirm.
The notice shows at the top of every page on your website, in your header’s colours, instead of the announcement bar. Guests can close it. Today’s hours change on your website, the opening hours calendar and the ticket shop straight away.
When it is on
On now shows the notice and how long it stays up.
- Take the notice down removes it now. Today’s hours stay as you changed them.
- Undo all of it removes the notice and puts today’s hours back to what they were. If someone has changed today’s hours on Opening hours since, change them there instead.
- To change the message or the time, fill in the form again. The new one replaces the notice showing now.
Guests already booked for today
The page shows how many tickets are booked for today. Owners can choose Let staff refund today or Move today's bookings from there. Managers can ask an owner. See Give a refund and Move bookings to another day.

Things that stop it working
- The park is already closed today. Choose Notice only.
- The time is outside today’s hours. A new closing time must be before today’s closing time, and a new opening time before it closes.
- The link is not accepted. Use a page on your website starting with /, or a full web address.
