Your account: name, password, two-step verification and signed-in devices

Keep your own Parkstack login details secure and up to date.

Where to find it: choose your name at the foot of the menu to open Your account, or open console.parkstack.net/account.

Before you start: owners and editors can open this page. Gate staff see only Gate, and box office staff see only Box office. Have your current password ready before changing your password or two-step verification.

Change your name

Choose Edit beside your name.
Enter Your name as you want colleagues to see it. This name appears in Activity and on orders.
Choose Save.

Your sign-in email is shown under Email, but you cannot change it here.

Change your password

Choose Change beside Password.
Enter your Current password.
Enter a New password, then enter it again under Confirm new password. It needs at least 8 characters and cannot be a password found in a known data breach.
Choose Save new password.

Your other devices are signed out when the password changes. You stay signed in on the device you are using.

Turn on two-step verification

Choose Set up beside Two-step verification.
Enter your Current password, then choose Continue.
Scan the code with an authenticator app. Apple Passwords, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator and 1Password all work. If you cannot scan it, choose Cannot scan the code? and type the setup key into the app.
Enter the code from the app, then choose Turn on.
Choose Copy codes and save the recovery codes somewhere separate from your password. Each code can get you in once if you lose your phone, and Parkstack will not show this set again.
Choose I have saved them when they are safe.

Turning on two-step verification signs out your other devices. This protects your account even if somebody learns your password.

To replace the recovery codes, choose Manage, enter your Current password and choose New recovery codes. The old codes stop working. Owners and editors can also choose Turn off from here.

Check signed-in devices

Read Devices to see each browser or phone, when it signed in and when it was last active. The device you are using says This device.
Choose Sign out beside any other device you do not recognise or no longer use.

Nothing on that device is deleted. It will need your password, and your authenticator code if two-step verification is on, before it can open Parkstack again.

Download or delete your login

Choose Download beside Download your data to save one file with your login, the parks you work on, signed-in devices and your work in park consoles.
Choose Delete login beside Delete your login only when you no longer need your Parkstack login.
Enter Your password, to confirm, then choose Delete my login.
Read the final warning and choose Delete my login again.

Deleting your login takes you off every park, deletes your signed-in devices and two-step verification, and signs you out. It cannot be undone. Your work stays in each park’s records without your name, so the park does not lose its order or Activity history.

What guests see

Guests do not see your account settings. Your name can appear to colleagues in the console, but it is not added to the park’s website.

Things that stop it working

You are the only owner of a park. Make another colleague an owner under Park settings → Team before deleting your login. This keeps every park with somebody who can manage it.
Your password is refused. Check the Current password is the one you use to sign in. For a new password, use at least 8 characters and choose one that has not appeared in a known data breach.
The authenticator code is refused. Wait for a new code in the app and enter that one. If you cannot use the app, use one saved recovery code when you sign in.
You see a device you do not recognise. Choose Sign out beside it, then change your password. Changing the password signs out every other device too.
