Bring back something you deleted, or an earlier version
Recover published website content after a mistake, without changing what guests see until you are ready.
Last checked 10 October 2026
Where to find it: open the list for that type of content. For an attraction, use Website → Attractions, or console.parkstack.net/attractions.
Before you start: owners and editors can bring back items from Attractions, Food & drink, Shops & facilities, Events, FAQ and Pages. Only something that was published before it was deleted can be brought back.
Steps
Bring back something deleted
- Go to the bottom of the content list. Recently deleted stays out of the way there until you need it.
- Open Recently deleted.
- Choose Bring it back beside the item you need, such as Thunder Run. This does not put it straight back on the website.
- Choose Bring it back again in the confirmation window.
- Check the restored draft. It contains the last version that was published, so work that had never been published will not be there.
- Choose Publish attraction when it is ready. The publish button uses the name of the type you brought back.
The restored item stays off your website until you publish it. You can take time to check the wording, photos and page address first.
Bring back an earlier version
- Open the attraction, page or other item that is still in the console.
- Open Version history.
- Find the date you need and choose Restore this version. The current page stays live while you check it.
- Check the version after it returns as unpublished changes. If it is not the one you wanted, you can restore another version instead.
- Choose Publish changes when guests should see it.
What guests see
Guests keep seeing the current published version while you restore an earlier one. A deleted item stays off the website while it is a draft. Publishing puts the restored version back within a few seconds.
Things that stop it working
- Recently deleted is not shown. There is nothing published to bring back in that list. A draft that was never published cannot be recovered there.
- The page address is already being used. Nothing has been overwritten. Change or remove the other item that uses the address, then choose Bring it back again.
- A photo or file is missing. Parkstack leaves out anything that has since been deleted from Media. Add a replacement before publishing.
- A page is not back in the header. Bringing a page back does not add its old header link. Add the page to Design → Header after publishing it.
