Ask the help assistant

Ask a question from any console page and get a short answer about your own park, with a link to the right page.

Last checked 12 October 2026

Where to find it: choose Ask a question under your park's name at the top of the menu, or press Ctrl and I together (Cmd and I on a Mac). On a phone, choose the speech bubble at the top of the screen.

Before you start: owners and editors can use the assistant. Gate staff and box office staff don't see it. If Ask a question isn't in your menu, the assistant is switched off for your park.

Steps

  1. Choose Ask a question. The Ask Parkstack panel opens beside the page on a wide screen, or over it on a smaller one.
  2. Type your question in your own words, such as "Are we busy this weekend?" or "Review our Accessibility page", and press Enter. You can also choose one of the suggested questions.
  3. Read the answer as it appears. A grey line such as "Looked at your ticket sales" shows where its figures came from.
  4. Choose a link in the answer to go straight to that page. On a wide screen the panel stays open beside it.
  5. Ask a follow-up question in the same conversation. Choose New conversation to start again on something else.
  6. Choose the thumbs up or thumbs down beside "Was this helpful?". Parkstack counts these to improve the answers; it doesn't keep what you asked.

What it can help with

  • How to do something, from Parkstack's help guides, with the console's own button names.
  • Your park's setup: why guests can't buy tickets yet, what's left before you open, and what needs attention.
  • How the park is doing: the next seven days, ticket sales for a period, what's closed, and website visitors.
  • Your website: which pages need more words, and a review of what a page actually says.
  • Your team and settings: who can give refunds, the header menus, and opening hours.

Some answers are for owners only, just as in the console: Activity, Branding, and money by payment method. If an editor asks, the assistant says so.

What it won't do

It only reads and explains. It never publishes, refunds, emails guests or changes a setting, so you always press the button yourself. It can't see guests' names, email addresses, phone numbers or individual orders. It doesn't give legal or tax advice; for those, it suggests your own adviser.

What guests see

Nothing. The assistant is only in your console, never on your website.

What it shares, and turning it off

Answers are written by Claude, a service from Anthropic, in the United States. Anthropic receives your question and what the assistant looks up to answer it, keeps it for up to 30 days and then deletes it. Parkstack doesn't keep your conversations. Please don't type guests' personal details into it.

An owner can switch it off for the whole park:

  1. Open Park settings → Help assistant, or console.parkstack.net/settings/assistant.
  2. Choose Turn off. Choose Turn on to bring it back.

Things that stop it working

  • Ask a question is not in the menu. An owner may have switched it off under Park settings → Help assistant, or you may be signed in as gate or box office staff.
  • It says the park has used this month's questions. Each park has a monthly number of questions. They start again on the 1st, and Help & feedback still reaches Parkstack.
  • An answer is wrong or unclear. Choose the thumbs down, then send the details through Help & feedback so Parkstack can fix it.
  • It says it isn't available right now. Try again in a minute. Everything else in the console keeps working.
