Edit the header menus and footer

Put the right links in your website header and choose which menus also appear in the footer.

Last checked 11 October 2026

Where to find it: Design → Header, or console.parkstack.net/navigation.

Before you start: owners and editors can change header menus and links. Only an owner can change the footer’s colours, logo and text in Branding.

Add and arrange menus and links

  1. Choose Add a menu if you need another menu, enter its Menu name, then choose Add menu.
  2. Choose + Add a link in the menu where the link should appear.
  3. Choose a part of your website, one of Your pages or Another web address… under What to link to.
  4. Enter the Link name and Link address if you chose another web address, then choose Add link.
  5. Drag a link to put it in a different place or another menu. On a phone, choose the link’s options, then choose Move up, Move down or Move to followed by the menu name.
  6. Drag the other links until the header preview is in the order you want.

Menu and link changes go live as soon as you make them. Remove from header removes that link from the menu in both the header and footer. Delete menu removes the whole menu from both places. The pages themselves stay in the console and at their own addresses.

Choose what appears in the footer

  1. Choose the options for a menu on Design → Header.
  2. Choose Show in the footer to add that menu as a column at the foot of every page.
  3. Choose Leave out of the footer if you no longer want it there. This does not change the header.

Change the footer itself

Only an owner can make these changes.

  1. Open Design → Branding, or console.parkstack.net/branding.
  2. Go to Footer.
  3. Choose the Footer colour and whether to Show the logo in the footer.
  4. Enter the Footer text, Copyright name and Company details you want guests to see. Limited company details from Park settings → Business details are added automatically.
  5. Check the live preview, then choose Save & publish.

Branding has no draft. The footer’s appearance goes live when the owner chooses Save & publish.

What guests see

The header shows the menus and links you have left visible. Menus set to appear in the footer are repeated there, alongside the footer text and details from Branding.

Things that stop it working

  • A menu is not in the header. Choose its options, then choose Show in the header.
  • A menu is not in the footer. Choose its options, then choose Show in the footer.
  • A link moved to the wrong menu. Drag it to the right menu, or use Move to from its options on a phone.
  • The footer design has not changed. An owner needs to open Design → Branding and choose Save & publish.
  • A removed link is still reachable. This is expected. Removing a link does not delete its page.
