Create discount codes
Give guests a code for money off tickets, online or at the box office.
Last checked 25 October 2026
Where to find it: Tickets → Discount codes, or console.parkstack.net/tickets/discount-codes.
Before you start: only owners can add or change codes. Anyone who uses the box office can type a code at the till.
Add a code
- Open Tickets and choose Discount codes, then Add a code.
- Under Code, type what guests will enter, such as WINTER25. Letters, numbers and dashes work, and guests can type it in capitals or not.
- Under Takes off, choose:
- A percentage: a percentage off each ticket, such as 20.
- An amount: pounds off the whole order, such as 5.
- Under Tickets it applies to, leave Every ticket ticked, or untick it and choose the tickets.
- Under Where it can be used, choose Your website, Box office or both.
- If you need to, set First day it works, Last day it works, Most orders it can be used on and Least spend. Leave them blank for no limit.
- Add a Note for your team if it helps, such as who the code was given to. Guests never see it.
- Choose Add code.
How guests use it
On your website, guests choose Have a discount code? under their order, type the code and choose Apply. The saving shows in their order before they pay, and on their ticket email and confirmation page. If the code takes the whole price off, they get their tickets without paying.
At the box office, choose Discount code in the order, type the code and choose Apply. The receipt shows the saving.
A code that takes an amount off the order shares it across the tickets, so each ticket keeps the price it was sold at. Refunding one ticket gives back that price.
Change or switch off a code
Choose Edit beside the code. Untick Switched on to stop it working, then choose Save code. The list shows how many orders used each code and how much it took off in all.
A code that has never been used can be removed with Delete code. A used code is kept for your records: switch it off instead.
Activity records who added, changed or switched off each code.
Things that stop it working
- The code is not recognised. Check the spelling. Codes belong to one park.
- The code has ended, or cannot be used yet. Check its first and last days.
- The code has been used up. It has reached Most orders it can be used on.
- The code does not apply to these tickets. It covers other tickets.
- The code only works online, or only at the park. Change Where it can be used.
